Second Draft Double Page Spread
I decided not to use this as my final draft of my double page spread because the competition i advertise at the bottom left corner is not very eye-catching and may not draw the reader in therefore i had to rearrange the positioning of my competition inorder for it to attract my target audience and keep them interested in my article.
Front Cover First Draft
The colours originally used on my front cover is not very bright and eye-catching also i changed the position of my barcode because it is very unusual to see a barcode at the top of a front cover instead i decided to put it at the bottom corner where it is often seen on mystic magazines.
The typography and catch lines are overlapping my model this is also very unusual because the model should be centred on and positioned in the middle and the headlines of articles should be surrounding her.
original layout of contents page
I did not use this layout for my contents page because it is not very original and eye-catching also this layout only allows me to show two pictures which may not attract the audiences attention.
First draft double page spread
I decided not to use this as my final double page spread as the colour pink is used heavily this may not appeal to my diverse target audience as the colour pink is associated with females it is not as unisex colour.
therefore in order to appeal to my target audience i decided to use less pink.

Images not used
I Decided not to use this picture because my model facial expression may not attract the audience and encourage them to purchase the magazine as she is squinting the audience may be left confused as to what look she was going for as this is very unusal and not very common in othe music magazines.
I did not use this image as it is not only cuts of at the top of her head which gives this a unprofessional look but it you are also unable to see my artist face this may leave the audience confused as they are unable to recognise the artist and her genre of music and her style.
